Halle Bailey Spotted With New Mystery Lover While Sailing Around Italy

Halle Bailey is busy in Italy filming an upcoming movie, but it looks like she’s penciled in time for her love life as she enjoys her Euro summer. The singer-actress was spotted recently sailing around in a yacht while having fun with a new mystery boo, with the photos insinuating they’re more than just friends.

The flicks, captured by photo agency BACKGRID and obtained by The Shade Room, show the pair enjoying some fun in the sun while sharing kisses, taking pictures of each other, and cuddling. The new alleged lover is a Black gentleman who sports long locs, looks to be around Halle’s age, and has not yet been identified yet.

Reactions from social media users immediately started pouring in, with many of Halle’s fans hyping up the seemingly positive relationship status update. “This is my type of carrying on,” one top comment read as another person wrote, “It’s giving : we dgaf. What’s for dinner yall?” A fan also referenced another fellow celeb who moved on from her longtime partner recently, writing, “Alexa play Outside by Cardi B!” Regarding one of the snaps showing Halle diving into the ocean with perfect form, another user reacted to with, “She really is the Little Mermaid.” See the photos below.

Bailey is in Italy for the summer filming Italianna, a romantic comedy directed by Kat Coiro. Details about the plot are still under wraps for now, but it was confirmed the movie is based on an original idea by Ryan and Kristin Engle. 

Although fans are always intrigued by celebs’ dating lives in general, Halle’s new situation is extra juicy considering her current ongoing custody battle with DDG, her ex-BF and father of her child. His name was brought up several times in the replies, as people were curious how the rapper would react to the news. “DDG bout to Kanye level crash out,” one person wrote.

“How yall mad she moved in & DDG Done been in 20 relationships since they broken upppp yall sickkkkkkkk,” another person pointed out, referring to his active streak of attending highly streamed events like Streamer University and Streamer Prom alongside different female acquaintances.

Halle Bailey and DDG dated from 2022 to 2024 and share one son, Halo. In May 2025, the “Braveface” singer accused DDG of domestic abuse and filed a restraining order against him, which was granted. The YouTuber filed for his own restraining order against Bailey in June and requested permission to see Halo while Halle had him in Italy. A lawyer for Bailey, Jeremy Lane, responded that DDG would be allowed to see his son but wants the visits to be supervised by a professional monitor rather than the rapper’s mother.
