Male Sex Worker Claims Diddy “Directed” Sex Between Him And Cassie, Testifies To Seeing Abuse

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking trial is underway in New York City, with day one featuring opening statements and testimony from the hotel security guard who was on-duty the day Combs was recorded assaulting Cassie in 2016.
The day’s second witness came in Daniel Philip, who previously worked as a male escort and claims he was paid “a few thousand dollars” in 2012 or 2013 to have sex with R&B singer Cassie as former boyfriend Combs watched.
Philip claims he was “expecting to do a strip tease and leave” with $200 and a tip, but was offered thousands by the singer for full intercourse as Puff observed and masturbated, NBC News reports.
“At that point she gave me a few thousand dollars and said she would tip me when I leave,” Phillip told jurors. “We ended up having sex, rubbed baby oil on each other for a couple minutes. He (Combs) was sitting in a corner masturbating.” After the session, he claims Cassie gave him “a couple of thousand more.”

“He started really directing us after the second time,” Philip testified of Combs’ demands while watching him and Cassie have sex, which he claims included telling him when and where to ejaculate, role play scenarios, and various sex acts he wanted to see on-demand. Diddy would also occasionally stop them so that he could have sex with Ventura, Philip added. He also claims that Puff offered him drugs, but that he never partook. He did, however, recall once seeing Cassie and believing that she might have been under the influence of drugs.
“Combs opened the door, he said ‘I don’t think this is going to happen today,’” Phillip said. “She looked like she was completely passed out, half on the couch and half off the couch.”
Philip added that he once witnessed Combs abuse Cassie after she didn’t rush to him when he called her name from another room.
“Combs came out of the room and I saw a liquor bottle fly past her and hit the wall,” he told jurors. “He grabbed her by her hair and dragged her by the hair into the bedroom. She was screaming and he pulled her into the bedroom. And what I heard sounded like him slapping her.”
Cassie then apologized to Diddy, Philip testified, claiming Puff’s response was, “‘B—- when I tell you to come, you come now, not later.’”

He added that he also heard Diddy abuse Cassie on a separate occasion while the couple was in a bedroom at the Essex Hotel. “I heard her yelling, ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry,’ someone was being slapped around and slammed around the room,” Phillip said. “And I looked around the corner and I saw Mr. Combs walk out of the hotel altogether without clothes, he might have had a towel on.”
“Shocked” and “terrified” by what he witnessed, Philip says he told Cassie to seek help after she attempted to downplay Puff’s abuse.
“She basically tried to convince me that ‘it’s OK’ and ‘I’ll be OK,’” Phillip said. “And I said, ‘It is not OK and you need to get help.’”
