Chad Johnson Responds To Cam’ron: “I’m Easy To Find… I’m Outside”

Chad Johnson issued a response to Cam’ron’s fiery rant about the former athlete. On Wednesday (Feb. 26), Chad and Shannon Sharpe released an episode of their Nightcap podcast where the men spoke on all things NBA and WNBA-related news.

But before they could voice their opinions on Luka Doncic’s face-off against his former team, Sharpe opened the floor up to Ochocinco to address the Purple Haze rapper. The former NFL star explained that he didn’t have ill intentions when he previously told Killah Cam that he was “coming for your spot.” However, Cam apparently took it as disrespect, leading the two men to where they are today.

“I said, ‘Cam, you’re my man, and I’m coming for your spot.’ I’m not sure how that’s taken as hate when all you have to do is understand that I’m saying I’m coming for your spot because I see you as the standard that is setting the bar in that specific space. You took that as an insult, which is weird to me,” he explained. “I’m not sure how you can do that. If you check the numbers, what I said I would do, I’ve already done and surpassed that in this specific space.”

Toward the end of Johnson’s rebuttal, he stated that he wasn’t trying to do the “beef thing.” But if Cam wanted to meet up in person to talk about their “issues,” they could because “I’m easy to find ’cause I’m outside.”

The ex-wide receiver’s remarks follow Cam’ron’s explosive rant on a previous episode of It Is What It is, where he unloaded on Chad. The Dipset leader bluntly detailed why he didn’t like Johnson, referencing Chad’s declaration that he wanted Killah’s spot.

“I don’t really f**k with [him] to be totally honest with you. When we started the show, the ni**a was hating from the very beginning … We were doing very well, we were very successful. We didn’t even have no deal, no sponsors, no nothing,” Cam said. “We were doing this off the muscle. He comes out of nowhere talking about, ‘Yeah, I’m gonna get myself back together and I’m taking Cam’s spot.’ Why the f**k you got to take my spot? What the f**k are you talking about?… We had only been doing the show for three months, but that’s how much of an impact that I had that that bi**h a** ni**a felt threatened.”
