‘The Real Housewives Of Potomac’ Are Back In Season 9 Trailer
The Real Housewives Of Potomac and all of their drama are back on the silver screen. The reality series previewed the upcoming ninth season in a new trailer, announcing new housewives, teasing new tension, and confirming an Oct. 6, 2024, premiere date.
This season, new full-time housewives Stacey Rusch and Keiarna Stewart join returning leading ladies Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Wendy Osefo, and Mia Thornton. Additionally, Jacqueline Blake returns, and Jassi Rideaux joins as a friend of the housewives.
Rusch, a former QVC host and mother to an 8-year-old daughter, is in the middle of a divorce, after 16 years of marriage. According to a press release, as she enters this new phase in her life, she is struggling with the decision to date again and navigating a romantic relationship with her best friend, who has decided to choose celibacy over intimacy.

Stewart hopes to build relationships with her castmates, run her business, launch a skincare line, and strengthen her relationship with her partner Gregory as they move in together.
The season begins in the aftermath of Huger’s March 2024 car accident and DUI charge, examining how the incident is taking its toll on Karen Huger and her family. As she tries to pick up the pieces, the other housewives attempt to get the full story of what exactly went down.
Additionally, the ninth installment finds Bryant focusing on dating and honoring her late father, Darby moving forward with her divorce, Osefo entering a new chapter, and Thornton building her new relationship as she moves on from her past.

Missing from the upcoming RHOP debut are Candiace Dillard Bassett, Nneka Ihim, and Robyn Dixon. Dillard Basset confirmed in March that she had “decided to take a break from RHOP,” adding, “This is not a farewell, but a ‘see you later.’” The next month, she revealed she was pregnant with her first child.
She had been a part of the reality series since its third season.
Dixon explained, “The network did not invite me back,” confirming rumors that she had been let go from the franchise in April.
“It’s reality. The network did not invite me back. I was fired, for lack of better words. I will not sugarcoat the situation and say, ‘Oh, I am walking away and this is a break’ or anything like this. This is a network decision,” Dixon detailed at the time.

In a statement to PEOPLE Magzine, Ihim attributed her one-season run to shifting focus on building her family. In the series, the attorney was vocal about her fertility struggles and journey with intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF).
“I will not be returning for season 9 of RHOP,” she exclaimed. “As a true resident of Potomac proper, 20854, just know that I’ll be seeing you all again soon.”
“The Real Housewives of Potomac” is produced by Truly Original with Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Lorraine Haughton-Lawson, Nora Devin Zimmerman ,and Leola Westbrook-Lawrence serving as executive producers.
