Diddy Physically Abused Cassie Ventura Over Relationship With Kid Cudi, Says Former Bodyguard

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ physical abuse of Cassie Ventura allegedly was partially from Ventura’s supposed relationship with Kid Cudi, says Combs former bodyguard.

Roger Bonds, the former head of the embattled mogul’s security detail, recently appeared on VladTV, during which he divulged his knowledge of Combs’ abuse and misconduct while under his employment.

According to Bonds, Combs discovered that Ventura and Kid Cudi were involved romantically after going through Ventura’s phone, leading the Bad Boy founder to become incensed and attempt to confront Kid Cudi at his home.

While Bonds says he wasn’t privy to the details of that encounter, he recalls that Kid Cudi wasn’t home at the time and that Ventura had begun to distance herself from Combs during that same period. “I don’t know exactly what he said. I know that he went over to his house and Kid Cudi wasn’t there,” Bonds explained.

“At that particular time, after that happened, Cassie wouldn’t come around and then, all of the sudden, Cassie came around and Diddy was upset.” The Harlem native reveals that Combs then took out his anger on an employee named Capricorn, whom he believed had knowledge of Ventura’s dealings with Kid Cudi, by physically assaulting her.

“He was upset with a young lady called Capricorn,” Bonds remembers. “Capricorn was his personal assistant. She had to know about Kid Cudi because she never went to the studio by herself. She always went with Cassie,” he said.

“He put hands on Capricorn because of that situation. Capricorn ended up leaving and suing him for it. He paid Capricorn $450,000 to keep her mouth shut.”

Combs was sued by Ventura in 2023, alleging physical and emotional abuse, among other claims against the famed music executive. The lawsuit was ultimately settled out of court. In May 2024, CNN published footage from 2016 of Diddy assaulting Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel. Combs has since released a public statement apologizing for his actions.
