Rihanna Rocks An “I’m Retired” T-Shirt And Sparks Album Speculations From Social Media
Rihanna may have just sparked even more speculations about a possible (or not possible) album with just one T-shirt.
While out-and-about with A$AP Rocky, the Fenty creator was caught on cam by a paparazzo wearing an “I’m Retired. This is as dressed up as I get” tee. Although it may have just been a vintage fashion choice, that didn’t stop social media users from accusing Rih of being calculated and sending a message about what would be her ninth studio album.
According to Vogue, the shirt is from Peacock Papers, a brand known for their eye-catching slogans emblazoned on apparel.
The billionaire babe spoke on her love for vintage finds with Complex back in April and shared that she’s been hunting for more fashion gems to add to her, Rocky, and their children’s wardrobe.
The mother of two admitted that she has an “obsession” with finding older pieces like Avirex jackets, Ecko jeans, and Power Rangers T-shirts, although it’s more difficult to find those for children.
“Vintage is a hard find for kids,” she said. “I’m obsessed. It’s shocking to see all the good stuff they made back in the day.”
As far as music, Rihanna has been busy with her growing Fenty brand that includes Savage x Fenty, Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, apparel, and now hair. As if Rih doesn’t have her hands tied enough, her latest vintage look increased fans’ desire for new music — with some feeling bummed that the Anti icon may actually be “retired” from hitting the booth.
